Posters
This page showcases the different posters I have completed either for in pursuit of my BA, freelance work, internships, or personal fun.
In a Bite
Movie Poster
My role in this project was to use Photoshop and Illustrator to design a poster to fit a certain aesthetic using at least one photo I captured myself. The photo I captured is that of the skull, sitting on a reflective surface, then edited to have the look of eating the city of San Francisco.
Objective:
Design a photo composite poster using predominantly Photoshop, promoting a fictitious sci-fi movie.
Student Work, Conceptual Piece
Design Exploration and Steps Along the Way
My goal was to adjust the character forms, especially in the serifs, to give the feeling of bones and a skeletal feel. I also experimented with different composition placements.

Discovering the Relationship Between Design and Human Experience
Calling Intention Poster
Explore the cyclical nature of time.
I defined my calling, and found its embedded meanings. I then examined the ways in which my abstract idea can be interpreted and represented in visual form, offering clarity, embedded meaning and understanding to a viewer.
The goal was to push beyond literal translation, to use metaphors and story telling for my design. Metaphorical connection is the way the human brain understands anything abstract.
By integrating a harmonic explosive pattern into the overall layout of composition, it served as a driving force in all depictions in the poster. I chose to use Blender to create and shoot an abstract scene loosely representing a battle reminiscent to that of David vs Goliath, this is to show courage and empowerment. I used Illustrator for typesetting and Photoshop for touch-ups and lighting adjustments.

Get At It

It really is that simple.
